Netflix's 'Age of Attraction' reunion just confirmed Logan and Vanessa's relationship status
Netflix's 'Age of Attraction,' an experimental dating show about massive age gaps in romantic relationships, featured 40 single men and women in search of finding love with someone significantly younger or older. The reality series created by Jennifer O'Connell and Rebecca Quinn, the founders of Velvet Hammer Media, premiered on March 11. Four couples professed their love for each other in the finale, which aired on March 25, but only two couples managed to hold on to each other by the time the reunion special aired on April 1. The show's hosts, Nick and Natalie Joy Viall, caught up with the contestants to see how many age-defying connections stood the test of time in the outside world.
Logan Goodrid and Vanessa Drozda, with a 20-year age difference, got engaged during the finale. At the reunion special, which caught up with the couple almost a year later, Drozda answered questions about whether they are still engaged by holding out her engagement ring and saying, "We sure are!" She is a 49-year-old salon owner, while the 29-year-old Goodrid works in the corporate sector. She told Tudum that she and Goodrid are currently doing long distance, but "We’re still going strong." Goodrid, who is currently recovering from his second Achilles surgery, added that once he is fully recovered, he will be "able to move around a lot better, and we’ll continue planning our future together." Although they have not decided on a wedding date yet, the couple is planning to move in together, either in Ohio, Texas, or somewhere new entirely. "By fall, we plan on moving in together and blending our lives," Drozda shared.
The couple did not have an easy ride as they clashed a lot while living together under one roof. Drozda became frustrated with Goodrid over their lack of intimacy, while he felt that she did not respect him as a partner. They seemed to be heading towards splitsville when Drozda asked him directly, "Is this the part where you break up with me?" But neither of them gave up on each other, and Goodrid surprised everyone by proposing to her in the finale, "It’s been a crazy roller coaster, but I don’t want to get off this ride any time soon," he said to Drozda, who heartily accepted. After the proposal, Goodrid shared that he was looking forward to sharing his life with her. "Age doesn't matter for us. Vanessa changed me. She's the one who's made me feel ways that I haven't felt before."
Besides Drozda and Goodrid, Libby Vodick (22) and Andrew Wheeler (38) are the only other couple who are still together. They share a 16-year age gap between them and are not engaged as of this writing. The 'Age of Attraction' reunion special aired at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT on Wednesday, April 1, exclusively on The Viall Files YouTube channel, and will not stream on Netflix.
