'7 Little Johnstons': Does Amber Johnston hate adopted daughter Anna? Trailer reveals they fight a lot
TLC's hit show '7 Little Johnstons' is returning with another season. The premiere episode is putting the focus back on Anna Johnston and her mother Amber's strained relationship. Anna is Amber and Trent's adopted daughter. She gets along well with her dad but her relationship with her mother has always been strained. Remember the time she was off to college and felt her family was trying to push her away? An encore of that time is what the audiences can expect to see this season.
Anna asks Trent for some extra cash so that she can move out of the house. She also informs him that she has already started house hunting with her friend. In a confessional, Trent says he was not blindsided by Anna telling him she wanted to move out but at the same time, he believed there wasn't a lot of thought behind the decision.

Anna was firm in her decision that she wanted to move out and added, "It will just help relationships in the house." In a confessional, Anna spoke in detail about what was happening between her and her mom Amber. "Things are not good in the house... One time I didn't know what she was mad for and I was like 'Mom I don't care about us fighting'. She thought I meant I didn't care about her."
She further explained her decision to move out stating she and Amber had the best relationship when she left home for college. "We could talk about anything and get along. I am slowly getting where I am not caring about having a relationship with my mom, I don't want to get like that. I don't want to move out because mom and I cannot get along. I want to move out to fix the problem, I know moving out will fix the problem."
'She does her own thing and they can’t stand that'
"The mom does treat this child different. She wants her space maybe that would help their strained relationship," a comment read on the new trailer that was shared on TLC's official Instagram page. Another comment read, "Oh I wish so bad they would just accept her, love her through everything and just support her. If she fails and needs to come back home LET HER! why are they always so damn serious and over the top. Just support her!!!!! I feel so bad for her. I know she feels lost and scared because they treat her so different!"
"I kinda always felt like they don't like Anna, she is opinionated and stubborn and it doesn't go well with mom and dad. And her desire to move out just breaks my heart. She doesn't want to get near her parents? It's heartbreaking," commented a fan of the show. "I agree with Anna and I feel like the issue her parents have with her is that she doesn’t comply like the other kids. She does her own thing and they can’t stand that," read another comment.
