Spoilers for 'And Just Like That' Episode 10 'Seeing the Light'

The last episode of HBO Max's 'And Just Like That' just dropped and all of the New York ladies have made big strides in their lives this season. The show may have ended but many are wondering if the show will be renewed for Season 2.

While Sarah Jessica Parker who plays Carrie Bradshaw is keen and says she spoke to the makers about continuing the story, the fan reviews have been mostly negative. Although the numbers for the show have been good, 'hate-watching' by fans of the original series is the main reason. From the forced wokeness to cringe-filled episodes, viewers have expressed why they have been disappointed by the 'Sex and The City' reboot. With business and fans' personal feelings colliding, renewal remains uncertain and the series most probably won't get a second season.

The series finale saw a lot of big changes disrupting the lives of many of the characters and setting them up for new stories. Miranda dyed her back to her classic auburn color while Carrie embarked on a new love journey after Big's death. She is even shown texting Samantha and it looks like they'll be meeting up for drinks with Carrie in Paris for scattering her husband's ashes, which saw an iconic location being revisited. Miranda is also moving to LA for an uncertain period of time to be with Che who has a pilot to shoot in Hollywood.

The finale is open ended for everyone, making it a good episode that went back to its 'SATC' roots, albeit briefly. This left many fans wanting more of the show, but not everybody was as forgiving, accusing 'And Just Like That' of "butchering" the original. After a mostly terrible season that saw negative fan reactions, some changed their mind mid-season when things finally started to get better while others wanted no more. Here's what fans had to say about a possible Season 2.

A fan said, "WAIT THATS IT THE SHOW ENDED??? Just when it gets exciting, y’all pissing me the fuck off @ #andjustlikethat writers." Another commented, "This whole thing was just terrible. Miranda was an a-hole, Rock a brat, Che the most dislikable character in the history of TV truly. A shit show. Please no Season 2. #AndJustLikeThat". A tweet read, "And just like that… #andjustlikethat is over, FINALLY! Now let’s move on and forget it ever happened!".

Another tweet said, "I know it’s had a fair few bumps along the way, but that finale was pretty beautiful, especially that location and that cocktail date Can we have some more #AndJustLikeThat ??". A viewer commented, "What a finale! Paris, flawless fashion, Samantha & Carrie reconciling, Sex & The City. I’m so ready for season2!#AndJustLikeThat". Another user had a contrasting opinion and said, "#AndJustLikeThat I hate myself for watching every ep in the hope it would somehow get better. It was a complete wokefest from start to finish. Please do not make a season 2.".
