If you are a fan of ‘Eurovision’, then NBC’s ‘American Song Contest’ is undoubtedly made for you. Just like the format for ‘Eurovision’, the NBC series pits new and known singers from several American states against each other for the grand prize along with the ‘Best Hit Song’ title.

In the latest episode, the all-female group ‘Sweet Taboo’ represented the state of California and they came on the show to leave a lasting impression on Kelly Clarkson. The group performed their original song titled ‘Keys to the Kingdom’. The performance from the California group had everything and social media had a lot to say about their performance.

Kelly and Snoop loved the performance, especially the rapper who also hails from California. As far as social media is concerned, fans hailed the group for their performance and said that the group made California proud.

One of the fans wrote, “Song 2: California. YESSSSS THIS IS EVERYTHING I WANTED FROM CALIFORNIA. My adopted home state. These fierce pop girlies better make it through.” Another fan tweeted, “California was so fun!!! I'm biased in that I basically always love a girl group, but even my boyfriend's parents were into it.”

“Sweet Taboo’s song could honestly be a chart-topper. It came out of the gate as one of the most well-produced songs of the contest, it provided so many different styles and it was melded to perfection. This should be the jury vote. Give them the keys!” wrote another social media user.

Meanwhile, another Twitter user said, “Sweet Taboo has the staging, styling and a strong bop, go California!.” Another social media user tweeted, “Yeah California is pretty good! Probably going to be one of my favorites tonight.”

“#California and Sweet Taboo ARE SEEEERRRRVINGGGG,” tweeted another social media user. “@realsweettaboo truly impressed me tonight! That song was outstanding!,” said another one.
