'American Idol' contestant Noah Peters became viral in 2023 when he uploaded a video of him singing while cutting a client's hair

BENTON, TENNESSEE: 'American Idol' Season 22 contestant Noah Peters is a viral sensation on social media. He is a barber by profession but has a passion for singing. He calls himself a "Singing Barber."

Noah was a Tennessee native but later moved to Virginia. He had to move because of his father's job change as a pastor. He opened his first shop in Grundy, Virginia. When he moved back to Tennessee, Noah opened another shop named "The Hair Place."

Noah became a viral sensation online in 2023 when he uploaded a video of him singing while cutting a client's hair. His video got over 1 million views. Noah is often seen uploading videos where he encourages his clients to sing and play.

He has also worked with some famous names, like 'The Voice' singer Grant Bias, rapper Jelly Roll, and singer Luke Burr.

He also revealed that one of his singer friends is going on a tour with Blake Shelton. He uploaded a music video and wrote, "In honor of my dear friend @emilyann_music going on tour with @blakeshelton here’s this !!"

Noah has also done a duet with Nick Connors, the band The Dryes, and many other renowned names. "I want to bring national to the barber shop, so my goal is to have famous musicians come to my shop and we sing together in the shop", says Noah to RFD TV.

He also wrote a song 'Virginia Life' where he described how he moved to Virginia and how the move affected him.

Noah has a huge fan following on social media. He has around 315K followers and people keep wondering what was 'Signing Barber's first love, singing or cutting hair. 

Noah says to the outlet, "My mom said before I could talk I would humm myself to sleep singing." He added, "So I feel I've been singing my whole life, I don't remember the time I wasn't."

Reportedly, Noah was married to a woman named Kailee. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with cancer and passed away.

Before his ex-wife died, she reportedly made Noah promise that he would open his barber shop. He kept the promise and opened his barber shop in the most unique way possible.

Is 'American Idol' Season 22 contestant Noah Peters married now?

Noah is not married yet but is engaged to Krista Endicott and they have a son together named Kyzer. Krista helps her fiancé in the barber shop and also enjoys singing with him.

The 'American Idol' contestant hopes that Kyzer will one day get his family's vocal abilities but as of now he is settled with his son's words "Dada dad."
