'Outrageous': 'The Voice' Season 24 viewers furious as Team Gwen singer BIAS moves to Top 9
UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: As 'The Voice' competitors progressed to the semi-finals, Arkansas continued to be represented on the show. Fans were astonished when Arkansan candidate Grant BIAS advanced to the next round after making it through the Top 12 live performances.
The Top 12 artists performed live on December 4, with BIAS covering Johnny Cash's song 'God's Gonna Cut You Down'. The remaining artists continued to play alone and in trios for a position in the finals the following week.

Team Gwen's BIAS' performance on 'The Voice' makes Reba McEntire envious
BIAS channeled his inner rock god to perform Johnny Cash's 'God's Gonna Cut You Down'.
The vocalist, who now lives in Tennessee, had complete control on the stage, dressed in a pair of glittering black dress pants and an embroidered jacket, as fireworks flared behind him.
Reba McEntire, who turned for BIAS at his blind audition earlier in the season, was envious of the vibrant performance.
"That's the reason why I wanted you on my team," she replied. "My gosh, you’re good. Way to go, that’s a wonderful performance."
Meanwhile, BIAS's coach Gwen lauded him for his artistic uniqueness.
"It's like a dream that you're on my team and that we have this connection," she remarked. "You just keep being you. You are the purest person I’ve ever met."
Who is BIAS on 'The Voice' Season 24?
BIAS was raised in a musically inclined home. He goes by his last name, a representation of the prosperity and prestige he wants to accrue for his family.
His first country song and guitar lessons came from his grandfather, Poppy. He began drumming at the age of four with his brother Brooks, and shortly afterward, he, Brooks, and their parents formed a band at church.
BIAS' father is a worship leader who tried out for a Chattanooga church's worship pastor position. At the age of 15, BIAS had the opportunity to meet Karley, the pastor's daughter, and the two ended up getting married.
BIAS is now embarking on his own musical journey, having previously followed in his father's footsteps.
Is BIAS from 'The Voice' Season 24 married?
BIAS just celebrated his first wedding anniversary in September 2023. He is married to Karley Bias, who is also a singer.
"I have envisioned what this day would look like for many years, but never in a million years could I have dreamed of such a beautiful day. Karley, I can’t express in words how much I love you. I’m so grateful for who you are and what you mean to me. This is to us. We deserve this," BIAS wrote after he and Karley tied the knot in 2022.
'The Voice' Season 24 airs on Mondays at 8 pm ET and Tuesdays at 9 pm ET on NBC.
