'American Idol' Season 22 fans rally to 'leave Jack Blocker alone', decrying over-mentoring of fan favorite
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fans of ‘American Idol’ Season 22 are demanding that judges leave Jack Blocker alone amid concerns of over-mentoring. Many fans believed that Jack was great just the way he was and that the judges didn't need to intervene too much. However, they were left in awe of his performance and were all praises for him.
Jack Blocker performed “Believe” by Cher in an acoustic version, accompanying himself on the guitar. This interpretation stood apart from Cher's dance standard, offering a unique twist to the song. However, fans were happy with his performance, but not with the judges.
"The judges should leave Jack Blocker alone. He's great just as he is,' said a user on X. Others asked him to focus on being himself more. "Your version of Cher's song tonight brought tears to my eyes because it was so beautiful. Keep being yourself, Jack Blocker."
