If you've watched the last episode of ‘All American’, you are asking the same question as thousands of other fans: Can Spencer James (Daniel Ezra) and Olivia Baker (Samantha Logan) get a happy ending? When will the troubles end for the couple?

It seems The CW makers don't have that in mind for a long time. Filled with plenty of drama and relationship woes, the eighth episode ‘Canceled’ showed a major feud brewing between Olivia and Layla Keating (Greta Onieogou).

Of course, she is heartbroken over the betrayal... after all, she not only lost her boyfriend but a close friend too. Olivia and Spencer, meanwhile, do deserve happiness as they have felt this connection for a long time. But what will happen in the next episode after the major cliffhanger?

‘All American’ Season 3 Episode 8 Recap

A love triangle, an accident and alcoholism, the latest episode of The CW show makes you question one too many things. The one-hour drama begins with Spencer trying to clear his mind after Layla finds out about his past with Olivia. From twists and turns in his love life and football career, Spencer has too many things going on and he decides to head for a morning workout session with his brother to clear his mind.

As the episode comes to a close, Olivia shows up to talk to Spencer. She only recently confessed her feelings, saying, "I love you. I ain’t even sure when it happened. Maybe it was the night I got shot, watching movies with you all summer, or maybe since my first day at Beverly and I just ain’t realize it but I know now. I’m in love with you."

As they go for a drive, she accepts that she feels a strong connection with him. However, the episode ends with a shocking car crash. In a major cliffhanger, Olivia asks Spencer to switch seats with her because she won’t pass a sobriety test. Will Spencer take the fall for her?

In a promo, Coach Billy Baker can be seen getting angry at Spencer. "You knew and you covered for her," he tells him. Does that mean Spencer will take the fall for her and switch seats?

Right now, a summary for the new episode is not out yet but fans have many questions and theories ready. "Olivia really decided to drive Spencer home while intoxicated to tell him she loves him. How does that show your love when you risked this guy's safety and career?" one tweet read.

Another said, "No but why they need Olivia driving to tell Spencer she loves him back and all. But of course, it has to end that way. And we have to wait for another few episodes because we know Spence will wait for Liv to get better."
