‘All American’ Season 3 Episode 7: Did Spencer play with Layla's feelings after telling Olivia he loves her?
With unrequited love, marriage and more drama, ‘All American’ was packed with shocks and surprises as the seventh episode aired last week. Titled ‘Roll The Dice’, the episode began with a sneak peek from Vegas.
With the phrase “Getting Things Cleared Up”, the summary of the episode read, “With Coop (Bre-Z) performing in Las Vegas, Spencer (Daniel Ezra) and some of the gang take a road trip to see her and Layla (Greta Onieogou) on tour.”

The summary continued, “Layla is nervous to see Spencer and admit how she is feeling towards him, and surprisingly Spencer also gets a little clarity on his feelings. Olivia (Samantha Logan) surprises the group last minute, but she notices that Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) and Simone (guest star Geffri Maya) are acting suspicious, so she enlists Spencer’s help to see what they are up to. Meanwhile, with the urging of Coop, Patience (Chelsea Tavares) tries to stand up for herself, but JP (guest star Ray Campbell) has other plans leaving Patience stunned when she discovers the reason why.”
The episode began in Vegas at a penthouse suite that JP Keating (Elvis Nolasco) paid for. Olivia lands there too after Spencer calls her. The two go shopping and once they get back, Olivia finds a marriage license in Jordan's backpack! When Liv and Spencer confront Jordan and Simone, they tell them they're getting married.
At first, Olivia and Jordan are invited to the wedding but when Simone tells Jordan about Olivia's lecture, the two decide to get married without them. When there is no way to stop them, Olivia and Spencer decide to be with them. At the wedding chapel, Spencer looks into Olivia's eyes when Jordan is saying his vows.
Once the two go back into their room, Spencer gifts Olivia a necklace that she liked, leans in and kisses her. Confessing his feelings, he tells her he loves her, but Olivia shuts him down and leaves. Right then, Layla meets Spencer and tells him about her feelings. He jumps back into a relationship with her immediately after.
Directed by Dawn Wilkinson and written by Mike Herro and David Strauss, the episode left many viewers shocked after showing Simone and Jordan's marriage and the unrequited love between Spencer and Olivia. As the new episode rolls out, the biggest question everyone seems to be wondering is: Why really did Spencer go with Layla? Will the two break up? And is there any chance for Olivia and Spencer to get together?
‘All American’ Season 3 premiered with its first episode on January 18 and the seventh episode titled ‘Roll The Dice’ was telecasted on March 1, 2021, at 8 pm ET on The CW.
The network announced the estimated schedule for its fall shows and the series is slated for the 8 pm to 9 pm time slot on Mondays. Going by the previous seasons, this one should also come with 16 episodes.
