'AGT' Season 19: Liv Warfield performs song written exclusively for her by music legend
PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: LiV Warfield was a backup vocalist for a number of musical acts, including Prince. So, when it came time to perform in the quarterfinals of 'America's Got Talent' Season 19, she made sure to deliver a classic written specifically for her by the icon himself.
Liv, Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer vocalist, approached the stage during the August 13 episode to perform a "very special song" written by Prince for her. Simon termed it "unbelievable" and said he could sense all of her hard work in just three minutes.
Sofía Vergara termed it "perfection," Howie Mandel was impressed and called it a "drop the mic moment," and Heidi Klum "loved every second of it."

'AGT's Liv Warfield was handpicked to join Prince's band
Liv, an R&B singer-songwriter originally from Chicago, Illinois, has a musical journey as distinct as her skill. She began her career in 2006, self-releasing her debut album, 'Embrace Me', a strong mix of songs.
Her big break came in 2009, when she was recruited to join Prince's band, New Power Generation, and go on a five-year tour with the music superstar. Liv has also performed with Nancy Wilson and had an unforgettable visit on 'The Late Night Show with Jimmy Fallon'.
Liv Warfield made Simon Cowell's jaw drop in 'AGT' Season 19 audition
Season 19 of 'AGT' is in full swing, and the talent is on point! Every season, several outstanding artists take to the 'AGT' stage, each bringing their A-game.
However, it is not every day that you see a performance that can leave the famously severe judge, Simon, completely shocked. Liv's audition was one of those uncommon occasions.
Simon and the rest of the Judges were left with their mouths open after the singer's mesmerizing performance, which demonstrated her extraordinary skill. The performer hit the stage with her big band and cemented her status as one of the finest in 'AGT' history.
Liv rocked the house down with her song, 'Stare'. Simon, known for his harsh criticisms, was so taken aback that he screamed, "That wasn't long enough!"
He likened her enthusiasm to a punch in the face in the greatest conceivable manner. His actions spoke louder than words as he pressed the Golden Buzzer, showering Liv with gold confetti, and securing her position in the following round.
Backstage, Simon said, "You just made our show great, thank you."
