'AGT' Season 17 Semi-Finals: Judges praise Pack Drumline for high-energy opening, fans say they're not 'headlining act'
PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: The stakes are higher than ever on 'America's Got Talent', as the show now enters the live segment. With only two acts making it to the finals each week, there is a lot on the line for the performers, as this might be their last chance to make their dreams come true.
As the Pack Drumline took to the stage, they explained that they had a lot on the line stepping into the competition. From not having the funds to pursue their passion to practising with plastic drums, the group was well aware that this was a once-in-a-lifetime shot for them.

As the group kicked off the performance, the judges were all praises for the show, stating that they truly brought the energy to the stage and opened the show in the best way possible. Heidi was all praises for their energy, with the judges wishing them all the luck they need to move forward. Fans, however, were less than impressed.
"Love The Pack but I could not hear half the drums on my TV. It was as though the mics were not on fir all of them. But I still thought they were fantastic! #AGT" tweeted a fan. "Genuinely can’t figure out what’s supposed to be impressive about drumming blindfolded. I mean, the drums aren’t going anywhere. No hate, but, I don’t get it. #AGT" added another. "Talented? Yes. Entertaining? Yes. Could I sit and watch just that for an hour? Not really sure about that… would I pay $50 - $100 to do so? Umm, no. #AGT" said a fan. "These guys are ok for a few minutes but watching them as a headlining act? It would get old real fast. #agt" noted a fan. "I will say they are pretty good but I think the audition was better, because they were doing the drumming more there then here in this round. #AGT" added another.
