'AGT: Fantasy League' judge Simon Cowell lashes out at Howie Mandel for 'bad mentoring' of Drake Milligan
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'AGT: Fantasy League' is back in full swing.
In the recent episode of the spin-off show, country singer Drake Milligan performed a song for the judges that he didn't write.
However, Milligan failed to impress judge Simon Cowell with his performance. Simon Cowell criticized Howie Mandel's mentoring and believed that Drake didn't connect with the song.
Mandel revealed that Milligan didn't write the song he performed and he decided to take a chance and soon after, Cowell described it as "bad mentoring."
Cowell complimented Drake and called him a star but dismissed the song choice, suggesting that he has the potential to write better.
Heidi Klum, on the other hand, disagreed and enjoyed the song. Klum pointed out that Drake's upbeat songs have always pleased the crowd in the past.

Simon Cowell unimpressed with Drake Milligan's song choice
Milligan was a part of many shows like 'America's Idol' and 'America's Got Talent.' This time, the country singer couldn't impress the 'AGT' judge Simon Cowell with his performance.
Cowell simply didn't like the choice of the song picked by Drake for his performance on 'AGT: Fantasy League.' He didn't think that the song selected by Milligan was a good choice for him.
Cowell said, "I love Drake as an artist and also as a person and this says a lot about Drake, however, that wasn't my favorite song and I think as a writer I believe that you are better than that."
Cowell simply felt that Drake didn't connect with the song.

When will Drake Milligan's new EP release?
Milligan's upcoming 'Jukebox Songs' EP, will be dropping on February 16, 2024.
While having a chat with Parade, Milligan talked about his forthcoming EP and said, “Jukebox Songs is exactly what it sounds like."
Milligan continued, "My goal for this EP was to write and find songs that feel classic and memorable—the kinda tunes would fit right in on some old Rock-Ola in the corner of a smoke-filled bar on the outskirts of nowhere Texas. It’s a continuation of the old-meets-new country sound I’ve always gone for, and this time with my friend Trent Willmon at the reins as producer, I’m very excited to keep this honky tonk train rollin.’”
