2019 romantic drama 'After' gained great heights of popularity and also faced controversy with its plot borrowed from a young-adult Harry Styles fan fiction called 'Dark'. The e-story was soon greenlit for a full-fledged 2019 production starring none other than 'Cursed' frontrunner Katherine Langford's sister Josephine. The stereotypical story about the girl next door, Tessa, and her egotistic sark and brooding flame, Hardin — a textualized version of a rather twisted Harry Styles — did manage to turn more than just a few heads when it first premiered. Nobody saw a sequel coming, but here we are. Arriving right in time for some spooky fall season goodness, here's all you need to know about the sequel titled 'After We Collided'.

Release date

The sequel to 2019's 'After', titled 'After We Collided' premieres this October 2 on virtual theatres and will be available for rent and to buy from the same day as well.

Plot

Continuing with Tessa and Hardin's bumpy relationship, the movie will follow the same old patterns from their story that have been explored before. The story kicks off at a point of their on and off romance where Hardin and Tessa are no longer together, but Tessa considers giving it another shot. The reconciliation comes with its own fair share of troubles, especially in the form of Tessa's growing friendship with her rather attractive coworker, Trevor. Add to that Hardin's constant unfaithfulness and we've got drama for days.

Other returning stars include Selma Blair as Carol Young, Shane Paul McGhie as Landon Gibson, Pia Mia as Tristan, Inanna Sarkis as Molly Samuels and Dylan Arnold as Noah Porter. 'The Vampire Diaries' star Candice King appears as Kimberly Vance and 'How to Get Away with Murder' star Charlie Weber plays Christian Vance.
