'Aboslutely killed it': Fans in awe of Edgar Ramirez's new Netflix series 'Florida Man'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: No one ever thought they would see a time when a streaming platform like Netflix would come forward with a series based on a viral meme. But the streamer has surprised us by producing a series that is based on the viral “Florida Man” memes that took the nation by storm in 2013. Titled ‘Florida Man’, the series dives deeper into the criminal world of Florida and is much bigger than the memes that were doing around.
The series primarily focuses on an ex-cop named Mike Valentine (Edgar Ramirez) who is now working for a Philly mobster because of a huge debt. However, things turn upside when the mobster’s girlfriend runs away in her BMW and starts living in Florida. Valentine, who was born and raised in Florida, is sent to his home state in order to bring the mobster’s girlfriend back. If Valentine is successful in doing so, he gets his freedom back. However, things start to go downhill when he gets entangled in a lot of weird things.
