As per the Netflix synopsis -- "Famed author, Sophie Brown (Brooke Shields), travels to Scotland hoping to buy a small castle of her own, but the prickly owner, Duke Myles (Cary Elwes), is reluctant to sell to a foreigner. Working to find a compromise, the pair constantly butt heads, but they just may find something more than they were expecting."

Cary Elwes
Ivan Simon Cary Elwes is an actor and a writer. He was born on October 26 1962 in Westminster, London. He was born to portrait painter Dominic Elwesand interior designer and socialite Tessa Kennedy and is the youngest of three sons.
Elwes comes from a distinguished family -- his paternal grandfather was the portrait painter Simon Elwes, and his great grandfather was the diplomat and tenor Gervase Elwes. His other great fathers were -- diplomat Rennell Rodd, 1st Baron Rennell, and industrialist Ivan Rikard Ivanović.
Elwes studied acting at both the Actors Studio and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. He studied under Al Pacino's mentor, Charlie Laughton and even worked as a production assistant on the films 'Absolution', 'Octopussy', and 'Superman' as a teenager.
He made his acting debut in 1984, where he starred in Marek Kanievska's film 'Another Country.' Elwes has played classic cinematic roles in works such as Westley in 'The Princess Bride', Robin Hood in 'Robin Hood: Men in Tights' and Dr. Lawrence Gordon in the 'Saw' film series.
His other notable works include films like 'Glory', 'Hot Shots!,' 'The Jungle Book', 'Days of Thunder', 'Bram Stoker's Dracula', 'Liar Liar' 'Shadow of the Vampire', 'The Cat's Meow', 'Ella Enchanted' and 'A Christmas Carol'.
Brooke Shields
Brooke Christa Shields is an actress and a famed model. She was born on May 31, 1965, to actress and model Teri Shields and businessman Frank Shields.
Shields is related to royalty, as she has ancestral links to noble families from Italy, Genoa, and Rome. In fact, her paternal grandmother was Italian noblewoman Marina Torlonia di Civitella-Cesi, who was the daughter of an Italian prince. She is also related to nobleman Alessandro Torlonia, her great-uncle, and the husband of Infanta Beatriz of Spain.
Shields' mother, Teri, was asked to terminate her pregnancy by Frank's family when she was pregnant with Shield. They even paid her to do so. However, Teri still had the child. The couple later got married but divorced when Shield was all of 5 months old.
Shields started her career young, landing her first modelling job at 11 months old Ivory Soap.
Shields has worked on a range of movie and TV series, some of her most notable works being 'Blue Lagoon', ' Suddenly Susan' and 'Lipstick Jungle'. Her recent works include 'Hit Job', 'Momma Named Me Sheriff', 'All Underdogs Go to Heaven', '9-1-1', 'My Boyfriend's Meds', 'Glamorous', 'Mr. Pickles', 'Jane the Virgin', 'Creative Galaxy' and 'Murphy Brown'.
