'A Babysitter's Guide To Monster Hunting' is based on the first installment of Ballarini's 'A Babysitter's Guide to Monster Hunting' book trilogy, published by Katherine Tegen Books. The second and third installment is titled 'A Babysitter's Guide to Monster Hunting #2: Beasts & Geeks' and 'A Babysitter's Guide to Monster Hunting #3: Mission to Monster Island'.
This movie follows the events after the baby babysitter Kelly Ferguson is babysitting gets kidnapped by the Boogeyman. She is then taken and becomes part of a secret society of babysitters who protects children from these monsters and is enlisted with them to fight for the child she has to get back.
