'90 Day Fiance' Season 9: Fans slam Emily for treating Kobe like a 'Modern Day Slave'

When it comes to the couples on '90 Day Fiance', sacrifices are often the only way for their relationships to work out. After all, one person has to leave their life behind and start afresh in the USA. And America is not often what they expect it to be.

Kobe and Emily have a lot on the line when it comes to their K1 process, mainly their son, Koban. The couple seems determined to make their relationship work in order for their son to have both parents in the picture. Unfortunately, the couple's life is a far cry from the one they had in China and it seems like they both are in for a rude awakening.

With not much to do, Kobe decided it would be best to help around Emily's family farm. For Kobe, he felt as though he still had to prove a lot to everyone around him, including making Emily's parents believe that they were a good match. But Emily wasn't making things easier, as she continued to boss him around and throw her weight around. As Kobe was roped into shoveling manure, Emily just stood there and kept chiding him, frustrating him in the process. Kobe eventually snapped and asked her to "shut the f--k up". 

Fans were entirely on Kobe's side -- there was no doubt in their minds that Emily was the villain in this scenario (and in general).

Were they waiting for Kobe to come because why those stables SO damn filthy? #90DayFiance" asked a fan. "So the only thing they could find for Kobe to do to help out, aka pull his weight, is to shovel horse sh$t...hmmm. If they didn't want to pay for him to live there, they could have just said no. Oh I forgot, they can't tell their daughter no #90DayFiance" wrote another. 

'90 Day Fiancé' Season 9 airs every Sunday at 8/7c on TLC.
