For most couples, the period before the 90 days is the honeymoon phase - where they all are so in love. But the moment the K1 visa process begins so does the tension between the couples. And, on this season of '90 Day Fiance', a few of them are already starting to crack.

So far, there hasn't been a single couple without their fair share of issues - from Bilal's questionable pranks to Miona wanting to leave Jibri's parents' house and Mohamed expecting Yve to baby him to Kara and Guillermo's rocky relationship. And it looks like Kobe and Emily are no different.

For Kobe, who was away from his son for so long, it is all about making up for lost time. While Koban didn't take to him initially, the child has warmed up to him, much to Kobe's delight. While Kobe continues to embrace the responsibilities that come with fatherhood, Emily isn't too thrilled about it all, since in her head, she has a relatively fixed idea when it comes to how things have to be done.

For example, while Kobe was enthusiastic about changing Koban's diaper, Emily only chided him the whole time instead of telling him what to do in a more calm manner. Kobe isn't exactly thrilled about this, since he believes that he is good with children; however, Emily noted that she is a Gemini in her confessionals and used that as an excuse to push the narrative that she likes things a certain way.

Things only got worse when the couple decided to go out with Koban. When Kobe suggested that he should drive, seeing that he was the better driver out of the two, Emily shot down the idea instantly, stating that he wasn't a better driver and that she didn't want him to drive with Koban in the car.

Kobe argued that the roads in America were wider than back home and that he was a careful driver, and for her to say otherwise was an insult to him. Emily argued that it was her car and that she didn't care how he felt. Kobe, in his confessionals, noted that there was a stark contrast between the previous Emily and the one he was with now. Even though Emily had her own way of doing things, he "set his own rules" and lived by them "as a man."

'90 Day Fiancé Season 9 airs every Sunday at 8/7c on TLC.
