DELHI, INDIA: In the new season of '90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?', Sumit Singh is back to his old tactics. He keeps further secrets from his now-wife, Jenny Slatten, and his parents, infuriating fans who label him a "lying coward."

Sumit and Jenny decided to marry during the last season of '90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way'. They are now navigating life as a husband and wife. However, there is one thing that prevents them from living their lives. His parents are unaware that he and his wife are married. Jenny believes she and Sumit can rest after their marriage in the latest season of 'Happily Ever After'. She is less stressed. However, he feels the only remaining obstacle is informing his parents that they are married. She recommends that he does not inform them and that they relocate to a different area of the country.

Sumit, on the other hand, believes he is in a “very tough spot.” If the '90 Day Fiancé' star's parents learn he married Jenny through a third party, they may never talk to him again. And it is something he does not want to happen. He feels that without his parents, he cannot live a happy life. In India, he says, parents' bonds with their children are "very strong and important." As a result, he is afraid to tell them the truth. Jenny feels that informing Sumit's parents about their marriage will jeopardize their happiness. She believes it will bring them trouble. But he can't keep it hidden for much longer. They will feel cheated if they learn from someone else.

Sumit does not want to jeopardize his and Jenny's happiness. However, the '90 Day Fiancé' star believes it is too late because he has already invited his parents to their home to inform them. He expresses his desire for her to join them. Jenny is unsure how she feels about meeting Sumit's parents. She fears it will be a rerun of the last time they visited. When Sumit's family arrived, the meeting did not go well. His mother begins the conversation by subtly disparaging Jenny, then explodes when she hears that Sumit married Jenny without her consent.
