'7 Little Johnstons': Will Joose Jeskanen return for Season 12? Finnish native says he's grateful for his 'second family'
When it comes to the Johnston family, fans have grown to love each member thanks to their unique and fun-loving personalities. While Trent and Amber do have rules and regulations when it comes to their kids, especially around dating, they do encourage them to be themselves and pursue their passions and interests. Now, with the youngest kids, Emma and Alex finally turning 16, it looks like the family is in for a whole new adventure. But these seven members aside, Season 11 also saw the introduction of a new, honorary member, Joose. The question is, will fans see Joose on Season 12? Continue reading to find out.

Who is Joose Jeskanen?
Hailing from North Karelia, Finland, 17-year-old Joose Jeskanen joined the Johnston family through an exchange programme. He appeared on Season 11 of the show and was all set to experience life in America. Although his mother Elina Sarpola was apprehensive about having her son be a part of the programme, her familiarity with the Johnstons via the show helped put her worries at ease. Joose was certainly excited about the experience, seeing that life in Finland and in the USA are quite different. "My first reaction when I came here was that, like, cars and trucks are so different. In Finland, cars are a lot smaller. Trucks are rare in Finland." he noted. He also joked that the Johnston family was "crazy" but was sure they would get along, seeing that he too was "also crazy".
Will Joose be returning for Season 12?
While Joose did have a great time in the USA, he did return to Finland. He will not be a part of Season 12 unfortunately, seeing that he has not been featured in any of the promo material so far. But fans need not fret, seeing that Joose and Johnstons clearly still maintain a rather close relationship. In fact, Joose was recently back in the USA and spent time with the family. He took to Instagram to share a few photos of himself with the Johnston and even captioned it -- "It’s so grateful to see my second family again."
