'sMothered' Season 3: Kayla and Rykia's discussions on sex and twerking embarrasses Rasheed

Kayla's son and Rykia's brother Rasheed is not ready to introduce them to the girl he has been dating for nine months, leading to drama

'sMothered' Season 3 will put on display the crazy relationship between three new and three returning mother and daughter duos. One of them is Kayla, 44 and Rykia, 26, and the two of them do everything together, including giving each other bikini waxes. Also living with them is Idris, Rykia's young boy who she had as a teenager. Being a teen mother helps Kayla and Rykia bond on another level. 

They are completely happy in each other's company, however, the onlookers have a tough time deciphering their relationship. Kayla and Rykia are a fun duo but the former's son Rasheed does not believe they're fun enough. This is the reason he has held back from introducing the family to the girl he had been dating for the past 9 months.

Kayla and Rykia were described as 'ratchet' by the latter's school-going son, Idris. He was the one who informed the duo about Rasheed's hesitance to introduce them to his girlfriend because of the fear that they'd begin twerking suddenly or bombard her with weird sex questions. For Kayla and Rykia, there's no conversation that is out of limits but there's a reason for it. 

The two became close after Rykia's father passed away when she was just seven, and both of them clung to each other since then. Kayla said, "our relationship is a balance between mom and best friend, so don't ask me about my relationship with my daughter. We got this here." They are aware of the naysayers and their comments about them being too close to each other, however, it does not affect them much. 

Kayla and Rykia also showed each other their sex tapes and the latter received critique from her mother about the positions she could try or what she could do differently the next time she was between the sheets with her man. People watching the show seem to be revolted by the relationship Kayla and Rykia share and they've taken to Twitter to voice their opinions. "I don’t know what I’m supposed to do with this mon and daughter who show each other their sex tapes. Like there’s no real people out there thinking this is totally fine #sMothered," wrote a fan. 

"I'm questioning being a grandma at 44 (had to be in her 30s!). Little young boy is growing up knowing more than his mom & gma think. Especially when it's aired for his friends to see. Parents will not want their child to be friends w/ him anymore. Cycle will continue. #sMothered" read another tweet. "Yeahhh waxing each other and watching each other’s sex tapes...I’m out #sMothered" tweeted another viewer. "Do these women know that Idris has to go to school, after his classmates and teachers see clips of his mother and grandmother waxing each other? #sMothered" enquired another fan. 

'sMothered' airs Mondays at 9 pm ET on TLC.
