(HGTV)

Mika is a realtor and Brian is a developer. This husband and wife team combine forces to make dream homes come true, helping clients design and build the perfect house in the perfect location. Brian got his start working construction jobs in college and began flipping houses on his own after graduation. Mika started working in real estate realizing her passion to find the perfect house for all her clients.

She discovered that many of her clients were prepared to settle for an imperfect house because they didn’t have time to build the house they really wanted. That's when Mika and Brian put their heads together to device their new business plan. They realized that they can build the perfect house for their clients using their personal skills as well as harness their good relations with some of the best builders in Florida. Clients started to line up soon and the rest is history.

This season, the Kleinschmidt's will race against the clock during Florida's hurricane season to build various styles of homes, including a modern, coastal, and farmhouse, with ambitious special projects such as a two-story boat dock and an indoor basketball court. In a surprise twist, the couple also will share the realization of their very own dream home.
