'100 Day Dream Home' Season 2: Release date, plot, cast, trailer and all you need to know about HGTV's show

Designing a home, let alone building it, is a very lengthy process. However, this HGTV show takes that concept and spins it on its head as a home designing couple complete both these tasks before their clients can count to 100 days in this show titled '100 Day Dream Home'. Here's all you need to know about Season 2 of the show. 

Release date

Season 2 of '100 Day Dream Home' will premiere on January 4, 2021. A new episode will air every Monday at 8 pm ET on HGTV. 

Plot

A home designer couple will take their clients on inspiration tours of various properties to select their desired exteriors, interiors and finishes and then will design a completely personalized, move-in ready home complete with furniture, landscaping and any other special requirements that they might have, in 100 days or under.

Mika is a realtor and Brian is a developer. This husband and wife team combine forces to make dream homes come true, helping clients design and build the perfect house in the perfect location. Brian got his start working construction jobs in college and began flipping houses on his own after graduation. Mika started working in real estate realizing her passion to find the perfect house for all her clients.

She discovered that many of her clients were prepared to settle for an imperfect house because they didn’t have time to build the house they really wanted. That's when Mika and Brian put their heads together to device their new business plan. They realized that they can build the perfect house for their clients using their personal skills as well as harness their good relations with some of the best builders in Florida. Clients started to line up soon and the rest is history. 

This season, the Kleinschmidt's will race against the clock during Florida's hurricane season to build various styles of homes, including a modern, coastal, and farmhouse, with ambitious special projects such as a two-story boat dock and an indoor basketball court. In a surprise twist, the couple also will share the realization of their very own dream home.
