The one-off Christmas movie will be premiering exclusively on Roku Channel on Wednesday, December 1. According to Futon Critic, the movie will be airing on the platform at 3.01 am EST.

The official synopsis reads, “Zoey’s Extraordinary Christmas will pick up a few months after Mitch’s death. Feeling lost, Zoey attempts to recreate the magic of Christmas and give her family the holiday celebration her father would have wanted.”
Who will star in the Christmas-themed movie?
Fans of the series will be happy to know that many of the original characters will be returning for the movie. Jane Levy will be portraying the character of Zoey Clarke once again while Mary Steenburgen will be returning to play Maggie, Zoey’s mom.
Jane Levy
Born on December 29, 1989, Levy attended Sir Francis Drake High School, where she was on the hip hop dancing team and was captain of the soccer team. Levy made her acting debut in 2011 with a recurring role in the TV series ‘Shameless’. The actress is known for her roles in projects such as ‘Don’t Breathe’, ‘Monster Trucks’, ‘Twin Peaks’, ‘Castle Rock’, ‘What/If’ and ‘The Pretenders’.
The other cast members include Andrew Leeds as David, Alice Lee (Emily), Peter Gallagher (Mitch), Skylar Astin (Max), and John Clarence Stewart as Simon.
Creators
The movie is being helmed by Richard Shepard while Austin Winsberg has penned the story for the upcoming movie. Apart from Winsberg, notable personalities like David Blackman, Paul Feig, Michele Greco, Daniel Inkeles, Dan Magnante, Mandy Moore, Eric Tannenbaum, and Kim Tannenbaum serve as executive producers on the movie.
