Everything is better with bacon, even romance! A good story of love is like good food. Both are ought to give you pleasure, comfort, and lots of warmth. Based on the eponymous romance novel, the upcoming Hallmark romantic drama will take you through a young chef’s love for food and the love she discovers for her competitor.

‘You’re Bacon Me Crazy!’ premieres on Hallmark on Saturday, April 4. 

Plot

Cleo Morelli is a spunky, young and ambitious chef in Portland, who runs a food truck and is quite hot in the city’s food scene. And then suddenly Cleo has competition. Gabe, the owner of Bacon Wagon, sets up his food truck right across the street, giving her a tough break. To level this out, both the chefs join a local food competition. But as luck would have it, their rivalry turns into something else, sparks start to fly, and before they themselves realize, Cleo and Gabe fall in love. Will their emotions survive their passion for food and career ambitions?

Natalie Hall plays the role of Cleo, chef and food truck owner. Hall is a Canadian actor and is a known face of television shows and series, and is known for her appearances in 'Only the Brave' (2017), 'True Blood' (2008) and 'All My Children' (2009-2011), among many other popular network shows, TV movies, and more.

Michael Rady plays the role of Gabe, Cleo’s competitor. Rady is a popular face of television and has an intensive portfolio of appearances and roles in TV series like ‘Castle’, ‘Greek’, ‘CSI’, ‘The Mentalist’, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, ‘UnREAL’, ‘Timeless’ and many more. He was also seen in movies like ‘Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants’, ‘The Guardian’, and ‘J Edgar’ among others.

Director

The fun romantic comedy drama is based on the original book by Suzanne Nelson and is adapted for the screen by Christopher Sey. The movie is directed by Allan Harmon. Harmon is an assistant director and director, known for working on ‘RL Stine's The Haunting Hour’ (2010), ‘If I Had Wings’ (2013) and ‘The Christmas Calendar’ (2017).
