'Your Honor' Episode 9 Spoilers: Did Michael get his wife Robin killed? Fans think she had an affair with Charlie
How did Adam Desiato's (Hunter Doohan) mother Robin die? For all its eight episodes, ‘Your Honor’ has managed to keep that secret quite well. In the ninth episode, the mystery begins to unravel and how.
Titled ‘Part Nine’, the episode summary reads, “With pressure mounting, Michael Desiato (Bryan Cranston) finds an answer to keeping Carlo (Jimi Stanton) out of prison; Charlie (Isiah Whitlock Jr) makes a shocking discovery.” Without revealing anything, the synopsis caps the main element — introducing an affair and the mystery man with the dead wife. Yes, it's true. Going by the shocking plot twist in the episode, it seems Robin was having an affair with someone.

His confrontation with Fia Baxter (Lilli Kay) is another massive revelation on its own. However, fans can't stop wondering about the affair and have tons of theories ready.
In a Reddit thread, one said, “Perhaps he had his wife killed? Maybe he’s not as squeaky clean as we thought?”
But not everyone thinks the twist is connected to Adam's crime. “I think it has to do with the theme of family connections and what fathers are willing to do for their children. Jimmy Baxter now realizes that Michael is not a scumbag that left his son Rocco to die but in fact, is doing the same as himself: whatever is necessary to protect his own son. Now he has the additional emotional baggage that Rocco killed an innocent man and that his daughter is in love with Adam. This has stopped being about simple and clear revenge and become a very complicated drama,” another said.
A third chimed in, “I don’t know why but I feel like the affair will be related to baseball.” While a fourth said, I'm wondering if Robin and Charlie were having the affair?! Who knows...”
A fifth had more questions. “Good grief! Michael finally asks Adam a question about where he's headed and the only thing Michael has to say is, 'Girlfriend?' Yes, says Adam. Ummm, their lives are in jeopardy and the father doesn't ask her name?! Michael is clueless about his own child, which leads me to conclude that he was this clueless about his wife, Robin. I stated from the beginning that I thought Robin was having an affair. She's been murdered and he seems oblivious...who was she sleeping with and could that be her murderer? Costello could have been given that info without it getting back to Adam. If I'm the detective, I'm wondering what else Michael is hiding!”
