The wedding uniting three royalties of Genoa City is in full swing. Abby Newman and Chance Chancellor finally say their 'I do's at the wedding venue after pulling a disappearing act for a good bit of the previous episode and leaving all the guests very confused and concerned. But once they are a happily married couple as Mr and Mrs Chancellor, the drama continues to persist in the premises of the wedding ceremony as Jill learns of the person who's the prime suspect in her grandson's shooting. Will she let it slide? Will Chance let it slide? Read on to find spoilers for the December 2 episode of the CBS soap opera.

According to the official synopsis given by CBS, "Victor doubts the innocence of Billy. Nina has a surprise for Chance and Abby." Victor, as we all know, is fixated on finding the person who shot his son Adam, who is currently recuperating in a psychiatric facility against his own wishes. While Adam continues to believe his father locked him up, Victor is mingling with Rey and Chance to bring the accused to justice. The accused, however, is someone from their own family, and it's none other than Billy who was previously with Victor's daughter Victoria, thus amplifying the tension between the families.

Billy insists the gun was his but he never took it out of Victoria's safe. There was a break-in and the cops are busy finding out who stole the gun, but they also don't believe Billy's claims. Luckily for Billy, his mother Jill, although shocked to learn of his involvement in the incident, refuses to believe the cops either. Jill believes in Billy's innocence, even though the other three men aren't in his favor. But once again, luck favors Bill as Chance is very occupied with his own wedding. He shoots daggers at Bill but soon chases to find his newly married bride who leaves for an outfit change and that's when all of this drama ensues. Fortunately, the ceremony doesn't get tainted with a brawl and for that, we have the groom to thank.

Speaking of the wedding, Nina has some elaborate plans about what to give the newlyweds. With the wedding guests being a few but close group of people, Nina goes around the room asking them to drop words of wisdom written on a paper for the newlyweds to surprise them. It was ironic enough that Devon, who is currently wrapped in his own relationship drama over infidelity and commitment should officiate it, but the people dropping words of advice for the newlyweds aren't all experts at marriage and relationships either. In fact, only Nikki and Victor are the two people wearing wedding rings in the entire venue, but here's hoping the others were able to help too!

'The Young and the Restless' airs on weekdays at 12 pm ET on CBS.
