The Netflix spy action-thriller revolves around a ruthless leader of an overseas black ops team who paired with a moralistic special inspector from Seoul enters a land full of spies and agents to complete a risky mission. Entering the home ground of the world's best operatives comes with all sorts of trouble which gives the movie its exciting premise. 'Yaksha: Ruthless Operations' boasts of a stellar star cast that consists of 'Squid Game's Park Hae-soo, K-pop boyband GOT7's Park Jinyoung, and others which have viewers very excited. Sol Kyung-gu as Kang-in, head of the Shenyang branch of the NIS
Sol Kyung-gu is a well-known South Korean actor who began his career in 1994 when he appeared in numerous theatrical productions after graduating from Hanyang University. He bagn by starring in theatre productions of A. R. Gurney's 'Love Letters', ' Sam Shepard's 'True West' and slowly bagged minor roles in feature films. 1999 served as his major breakthrough year with roles in 'The Bird That Stops in the Air', 'Rainbow Trout', and 'Peppermint Candy' that won his praise for his performances.
Some of his other hit works include 'Public Enemy' series, ' Oasis', 'Silmido', 'Hope', 'The Merciless', 'Jail Breakers', amongst others. He also then took to teaching acting in 2014, at his alma mater Hanyang University and as an adjunct professor in the College of Performing Arts. Kyung-gu also won numerous accolades in his career and is married to fellow actress Song Yoon-ah. He will play the titular role of Kang-in who is also known as Yaksha in the upcoming Netflix thriller.
Lee El as Hee-won
Lee El whose birth name is Kim Ji-hyun is a South Korean actress who began her career in the late 2000s. Some of her works include 'The Yellow Sea', 'Masquerade', 'Pacemaker', 'Man on High Heels', 'More Than a Maid', 'My Beautiful Bride', 'Entourage', 'Divorce Lawyer in Love' and more. She is most widely known for her supporting roles in the hit works ' Guardian: The Lonely and Great God', 'Inside Men', ' It's Okay, That's Love', 'Black', and ' A Korean Odyssey'.
She bagged her first lead role in the romantic comedy movie 'What a Man Wants'. Lee El plays the role of Hee-won, a veteran senior agent of the black team in 'Yaksha: Ruthless Operations'.
