'XO, Kitty' Episode 8 Review: Camping trip puts Kitty Song Covey and Dae-heon Kim's relationship in jeopardy

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: This is the moment everyone has been waiting for since the first episode of 'XO, Kitty' isn’t it? Dae-heon Kim and Kitty Song Covey finally getting together. While this might have been the most-anticipated scene in the first two episodes, that wasn’t the case anymore neither for the viewers nor for Kitty, by the looks of it. Things are going to get a lot more complicated in ‘XO, Kitty’ as the series comes closer to its conclusion.
After all the highs and lows, and mostly lows, can Kitty and Dae’s relationship actually survive? She did move halfway across the world for Dae (and to find out more about her mother) but have her feelings changed since? Kitty has a lot on her mind in this Netflix series, and one of those things, or should we say people, includes Yuri Han.

'XO, Kitty' Episode 8 starts off with Kitty and Dae sharing kisses, something Kitty had been looking forward to for the last few years. However, as the couple kiss, Kitty has far too much on her mind, but lucky for her, there’s a camping trip that offers itself as the perfect distraction … or does it? Kitty is distancing herself from Dae with the excuse that she would rather not portray any public display of affection to spare Yuri’s feelings, and would rather do that after Dae and her have talked about it all. Although, in reality, Kitty simply has a lot to figure out about herself and her feelings for Dae and Yuri.
The camping trip has Kitty trying to reunite Yuri with her girlfriend, Juliana, while Yuri tries to bring Kitty and Dae together. Teenagers and their feelings are truly all over the place in 'XO, Kitty' Episode 8. Nevertheless, there’s no stopping Dae as he orchestrates a grand gesture for Kitty on the camping trip as they both confess their love for each other.
Does Kitty Song love Dae-heon?
While Kitty might have confessed her love to Dae, did she really mean it? Or was it simply because she felt pressured to say the three magical words when he did? As Kitty returns from her date with Dae, she sees Yuri and Juliana reunite on a video call, as Yuri tells her girlfriend just how much he loves her. Kitty’s internal thoughts are in a frenzy as she feels like her heart had been ripped out of her chest. This confirms that Kitty still has unresolved feelings for Yuri, and maybe she doesn’t love Dae as she hoped she would.
