Contains spoilers for 'Women in Blue' Episode 2

MEXICO CITY, MEXICO: In 'Women in Blue' Episode 2, the Mexico Police team has arrested a gardener in connection with the murders of several young women who have been causing widespread fear and chaos in the city.

The gardener, who was previously considered an unlikely suspect, is now at the center of the police's efforts to bring the killer to justice.

However, the man was mentally unstable, and the police coerced him into signing a confession that he had killed the women. Later, he was found dead in his cell.

It seems Octavio Romandia (Miguel Rodarte) might be hiding a secret, as evidenced by his reaction when Maria (Bárbara Mori) suggested that the gardener could not be the killer.

Romandia's harsh scolding of Maria for questioning the gardener's guilt raises suspicions about his own motives and possible involvement in the case.

Could Octavio Romandia be the killer?

The way Romandia is not taking sufficient action against the real killer raises the possibility that he could be the perpetrator himself. His lack of decisive moves to advance the investigation or address critical leads may suggest an underlying motive to obstruct justice.

Romandia’s behavior could indicate that he is either trying to cover up his own involvement or is linked to a broader conspiracy.

He could be the killer himself or he must know the killer. If he is the killer, this could be problematic for the other women because Romandia is himself part of the men's Mexico Police Force.

If Romandia's secret gets exposed, it could severely damage the reputation of the Mexico Police Force. As a high-ranking or influential member of the force, his involvement in the crimes would cast a long shadow over the integrity and credibility of the entire institution.

However, it seems there is still a long way to go to find the real killer. No one would ever suspect Romandia.

Shocking truth could lead to a game-changing twist in 'Women in Blue'

The female police force is determined to uncover the real killer, but they face significant challenges as the male team dismisses their efforts and fails to take them seriously.

This could pave the way for a shocking twist if Romandia, who remains under the radar, turns out to be directly involved in the murders.

The failure to investigate Romandia thoroughly could result in another tragic incident, with the serial killer killing another woman.

If another death occurs, it could spark widespread public outrage and protests. The protests could also draw attention to systemic issues within the police force, such as gender discrimination, lack of support for female officers, and possible corruption or incompetence.

The public's focus on the broader issues within the police force could delay the discovery of his true identity, making it easier for Romandia to maintain his position and continue his criminal activities.
