'The Brothers Sun' revolves around Charles Sun, who hails from the biggest gangster family in Taiwan. After his father is shot by unknown attackers, he moves to Los Angeles to protect his mother (Eileen Sun) and younger brother (Bruce Sun).
Eileen and Bruce shifted to LA years ago and live a rather simple life away from crime and bloodbaths.

As someone tries to take down the Sun family for money and power, Charles takes on the responsibility to stop the attacks. While he is a seasoned criminal, he gets utterly disappointed that his brother Bruce is a soft-natured teenager and lives in a bubble.
Charles now has to take up the hard job of training his brother who finds it hard to adjust to the new gangster life.
