OXFORD, UNITED KINGDOM: 'Maxton Hall — The World Between Us' is a German series streaming on Prime Video from May 9, 2024, and those who have seen the series are curious about the possibility of a second season as the series ended with the fate of Ruby Bell (Harriet Herbig-Matten) and James Beaufort (Damian Hardung) still unclear at the end of the final episode.

The season will reveal the fate of Ruby and her attempt to get into Oxford. Ruby could once again find herself lost in the elitist and corrupt world of Maxton Hall and want her life with James back.
The second season could also explore the dynamic between James and his father after he physically assaulted his father at the end of the first season.
