What is the plot of 'Maxton Hall — The World Between Us'?
'Maxton Hall — The World Between Us' is about the protagonist Ruby Bell (Harriet Herbig-Matten) who is a reserved and focused student on her lifelong goal of getting into Oxford. But then she stumbles upon a secret she has to cross paths with James Beaufort (Damian Hardung).
James Beaufort and his sister Lydia Beaufort (Sonja Weißer) belong to an elitist family and James and Ruby are opposites with James being the undisputed leader of Maxton Hall and the quintessential bad boy and Ruby being the textbook definition of a good girl.
In an unlikely turn of events, Ruby and James fall in love with each other and fight to make this relationship work despite the invisible social gap between them.
The official synopsis reads, "When Ruby unwillingly witnesses an explosive secret at Maxton Hall Private School, arrogant millionaire heir James Beaufort is forced to confront the quick-witted scholarship student, much to his chagrin: He is determined to silence Ruby. Their passionate exchange of blows surprisingly ignites a spark."
