'The Handmaid's Tale' season three is almost upon us and the fact that author Margaret Atwood's sequel 'The Testaments' to the original book is set to release in September 2019, right about the time when the television season might conclude its season, has brought us to the one important question: Will the sequel to the book connect with the series?

The trailer of the third season which was released during the Superbowl and the pictures that have surfaced online of the shoot being organised at the National Mall suggest that the book and the series could meet halfway in between. Hulu is yet to announce if the series would be picked up for another season and, from the looks of it, Offred is done waiting and ready to charge against the system in the dystopian world of Gilead. She brings the Handmaids together at one place and it is an army that is ready for a revolution.
