'Love Island: Beyond the Villa' returns with Season 7 cast but Nic, Olandria, and Huda sit this one out
‘Love Island: Beyond the Villa’ Season 2 returned with a bang on April 15, and fans witnessed their favorite islanders making a comeback. Cast members from Season 7 of the Peacock show returned, but some fans were disappointed after they learned about a few islanders’ absence. Nic Vansteenberghe, Olandria Carthen, and Huda Mustafa were among the finalists on the show, but they were unable to make it to 'Beyond the Villa' Season 2.
Peacock’s synopsis for ‘Love Island: Beyond the Villa’ Season 2 reads, "Surrounded by familiar faces and past connections, these Islanders test their romantic relationships in the real world, resolve unfinished business with their exes, and discover that life outside of the villa comes with its own set of challenges." As the show premiered, viewers were quick to notice key islanders' absence. Nic and Olandria made headlines during their season and were the runner-ups, while Huda, who was also a finalist in 'Love Island USA' Season 7, had her fair share of drama. She was paired up with Chris Seely, and the two went through a dramatic breakup during their final date on the dating show. Nic and Olandria, on the other hand, have been together since the show ended.
It's possible that Nic, Olandria, and Huda did not make it to 'Beyond the Villa' due to their extremely busy work schedules. While Nic and Olandria have not shared their reasons for not participating in the show, the two have been seen exploring their career paths. In his December 2025 interview with Glamour, Nic mentioned that he had been working with numerous platforms and was also venturing into DJing and acting. As for Olandria, she has been busy pursuing her modeling career, working with multiple brands. During the same interview, she revealed how she has been quite busy since the show ended, “My friend set up an email for me once I got on the show where brands can email me directly to try to work with me, and it was overflowing with thousands and thousands of brand deals. I’m like, I don’t have a team yet. I don’t have anybody to negotiate for me. I don’t even know where to start,” she said.
Since Huda’s on-show breakup with Chris, she started dating 'Too Hot to Handle' star Louis Russell. However, during the 'Love Island USA' Season 7 reunion, when she was asked about her relationship status, she noted that she couldn’t share details because of “legal reasons.” At the time, 'The Perfect Match' Season 3, featuring Russell, had not aired yet. However, on September 22, 2025, she shared a post via Instagram with a caption, “Off the market.” With a series of photos with Louis, Huda went public about their relationship. Amaya Espinal, Hannah Fields, Iris Kendall, Jeremiah Brown, and TJ Palma are currently part of ‘Love Island: Beyond the Villa’ Season 2. Joining them are guest stars, including Belle-A Walker, Andreina Santos, Bryan Arnelas, Chris Seeley, Charlie Giorgio, Clarke Carraway, Gracyn Blackmore, Coco Watson, Pepe Garcia-Gonzalez, and Taylor Williams.
