Aiden Ross claimed victory on 'The Voice' Season 28, marking Niall Horan’s undefeated streak as coach

Niall Horan had plenty to celebrate as 'The Voice' Season 28 came to a close, with his team member Aiden Ross crowned the winner. The victory also marked Horan’s third coaching win, making him the only coach to take the title in every season he’s appeared on. Fans quickly flooded social media with praise, congratulating Horan on yet another impressive triumph.

Notably, Ross performed 'Golden Hour' by JVKE and 'The Winner Takes It All' by ABBA, in the finale of 'The Voice' Season 28, as per Today. In the end, Ross was announced the winner. Following the exciting announcement of Ross' victory, fans flocked to X to congratulate Horan on becoming the only coach to win 'The Voice' in every season he has taken part in.

A fan shared, "NIALL HORAN WINS THE VOICE AGAIN WITH AIDEN ROSS!!! CONGRATULATIONS NIALL!!!" A fan remarked, "Oh Niall Horan the coach you are! Congratulations on your 3peat! Meanwhile, a fan sarcastically noted, "WHAT HAPPENS WHEN NIALL HORAN LOSES? I GUESS WE’LL NEVER KNOW!" A fan said, "Congratulations to Aidan Ross! Winner of THE VOICE !!  Notably, Horan did not perform during 'The Voice' Season 28 finale on Tuesday, December 16 as he was sick and on vocal rest, though he was expected to fully recover, as per NBC. Host Carson Daly noted during the broadcast that Horan was "really under the weather," sparking speculation that was later confirmed when it was revealed he would not perform, disappointing fans who were expecting his appearance. A fan shared, "Aiden Ross was crowned the champion of The Voice Season 28 during the finale on December 16, 2025. His victory secured a third consecutive win for coach Niall Horan, who remains undefeated on the show."

Saving the day, Reba McEntire steps in and performed with Team Niall during the Tuesday, December 16 finale, ensuring Ross and DEK of Hearts are not alone on stage while Horan was on vocal rest. McEntire, who also had finalist Aubrey Nicole on her team, contributed to three of the six duet performances in the finale.
