Spoilers for ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City’ Episode 3

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: If you are currently following ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City’ on AMC, then chances are you might a little frustrated. While it is always fun to see Maggie and Negan on the screen, one crucial part of the series is the villain, aka The Croat. In ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City’ Episode 3, he was the villain in the truest sense, minus actually fighting the main characters.

‘The Walking Dead: Dead City’ has reached its halfway mark, with only three episodes to go but even now, Maggie and Negan haven’t faced The Croat. There’s been so much buildup and planning that when it actually happens, the scene or episode might just fall flat on viewers' expectations. With three episodes already released, will ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City’ Episode 4 see Maggie and Negan face The Croat?

The moment is almost here

Planning the face-off for three episodes seems like a little bit of an overkill. While it has been established that The Croat is a ruthless villain, ‘The Walking Dead’ franchise has also spent years establishing how skilled Maggie and Negan are. In this case, Maggie needs to be extra careful because The Croat has taken her son, but after three episodes, it might be time for ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City’ to take a huge leap forward.

It looks like the creators were waiting for this mid-season opportunity to put get Negan and Maggie against The Croat, and it will finally happen in ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City’ Episode 4. Now, Negan and Maggie won’t be going alone into this battle against The Croat, but even after three episodes, it doesn’t look like they have an army strong enough to fight him. In addition to that, Ginny is also on their tail, and it is highly possible that along with Herschel, The Croat might take Ginny away too.

There’s no doubt that Maggie and Negan will have some tough choices to make in the coming episodes, but for now, the focus remains on the showdown between The Croat and our main characters. ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City’ Episode 4 will be the beginning of an end that one simply cannot anticipate, but not everyone is walking out alive, that’s for sure.
