'RHOBH' alum Lisa Rinna reveals she would return to Bravo show but on one condition
Reality TV fans must remember Lisa Rinna from Bravo’s ‘RHOBH.’ She joined the show in 2014, debuting in Season 5. After eight seasons, she departed from the franchise and referred to it as “the longest job I have held in my 35 year career.” In an interview with People, published on January 5, 2023, she added, “I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series. It has been a fun eight-year run and I am excited for what is to come!” Her exit came after her contract with Bravo ended. Following a few discussions with the franchise, it was mutually decided that she would not return to the show.
Recently, while on a panel at The Times’ Festival of Books on April 18, 2026, Lisa spoke about her potential return to the Bravo show. She noted that she would be open to it, but with conditions tied to her compensation. Speaking about her husband, Harry Hamlin's thoughts on the situation, she said, “You guys are gonna laugh and think I’m ridiculous, but I was like, ‘I might do it for $5 million.’ He’s like, ‘No, 10. $10 million, you can go back.’” While speaking to the LA Times senior television writer, Yvonne Villarreal, she reflected on her time on ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ and ‘The Traitors.’ The Bravo star talked about her memoir, which she wrote during the show’s Season 12, which was filmed after her mother’s passing. Recalling that period of her life, Lisa spoke about how her grief manifested into rage. “I went immediately into rage, and that’s not really very cute. But I think my being in grief triggered the housewives, and it triggered the audience,” she mentioned.
After she departed from ‘RHOBH,’ Lisa appeared on ‘The Traitors’ Season 4. She left quite a mark with her role as the 'traitor,' and her unique outfits made her the talk of the town. She shared that after joining the cast of ‘The Traitors,’ she was determined to be herself. “No housewives s**t, no, none of that reactionary stuff, no, you’re gonna just be you,” she recalled telling herself. Speaking to the publication about the difference between the two shows, she said, “Housewives is not a game. Traitors is a game. Housewives, you just tried to literally protect yourself from the drama and the toxicity. And it’s even though it's a television show, it’s real. I mean, no one is writing a script for you. You’re dealing with interpersonal relationships and conflicts.”
The reality TV star has several fans, who undoubtedly want to see her in action on the show again. However, she also faced some backlash during her time on the show. She spoke about the same in her interview with People, recalling that she got booed by the audience at BravoCon 2022. “I got booed! It was fabulous. I’m like a wrestler. The wrestlers get booed. The most famous wrestlers in the world get booed. The Rock got booed for God’s sake. I loved it. I’ve been in this business for 32 years,” said Lisa.
