BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Kathy Hilton is speaking about her sister Kyle Richards' separation from Mauricio Umansky.
During her appearance on Monday's episode of 'Today With Jenna and Hoda,' Kathy, accompanied by her youngest daughter Paris Hilton, was questioned about the challenging period Richards has been navigating with Umansky.
Expressing her sentiments, the socialite remarked, "When I first saw it, it just broke my heart." She went on to note that Kyle is the "strongest" and "bossiest" sister among herself and Kim Richards.
Continuing, Kathy stated, "So she's very strong, she's resilient, and I love my nieces. I just want her to be happy."
Following that, Hoda Kotb inquired if there was any chance of the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star reconciling with her partner, Umansky.
She responded, "Honestly, you're asking me? There's no way that Kyle would've gone this far unless she really thought about it."

Kyle Richards spends Thanksgiving with Mauricio Umansky amid separation
Kyle and her estranged husband Umansky recently reunited to celebrate Thanksgiving together.
Umansky shared in an Instagram Story, stating, "The turkey has been cut and it has been cooked." Shortly afterward, he turned the camera to capture his estranged wife.
Subsequently, the real estate broker remarked, "Let me see [the food]. Can you lift up the turkey? Can you lift up the next [lid]?"
At that moment, Richards displayed mashed potatoes, peas, and more. Umansky expressed excitement over the "cookies, extra turkey, [and] cranberry" that awaited them.
He exclaimed, “We are good!”
Why did Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky split?
Kyle and Umansky ended their relationship this summer, deciding to part ways after 27 years of marriage.
During an interview with TMZ in September 2023, the reality TV star confirmed that she and her husband Umansky were no longer together.
She then stated, "Kyle and I are both human beings, okay? We experience emotions, we have feelings, and we're currently navigating a really difficult time, alright?"
'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star mentioned, “We are currently separated, we are not talking about divorce and we’re trying to deal with this stuff internally with ourselves privately.”
On the other hand, Umansky's clarification ended up leaving fans confused.
In an episode of the 'Red Mic' podcast by the Agency Dallas, he stated that the two of them were not separated.
At that juncture, Umansky stated, “Divorce is not part of our conversation right now. That is not part of what we’re dealing with. We’re dealing with a separation."
He continued, “We’ve had 26 amazing years." Umansky acknowledged that the past year has been “really tough” on the couple.
Umansky continued, “We’re not ready to throw in the towel yet."
For those who may not be familiar, Kyle and Umansky married in 1996, exchanging their vows in January of that year.
