Key moments from the trailer include Wolverine and Nightcrawler teaming up in combat, and Beast and Jean Grey preparing for a fight. Most significantly, the trailer features Captain America's shield landing in the snow, suggesting his role in the series.

While fans were thrilled by the teaser, many were also sharing their theories and speculations about Captain America's role and whether he is the same character from 'X-Men: The Animated Series'.

One fan wrote, "Is this the same Captain America that is trapped in the other dimension with Red Skull in the 90s Spider-Man animated series?" Hoping for Chris Evans to voice the role, one fan said, "I really hope they get Evans, or an Evans sound-alike to play him."

One fan speculated, "I really want the series to touch on the bias and inaction of the avengers towards mutant kind during the Genosha Genocide! Its one of the events that broke their relationship back in the day it would be interesting to see how they use it in the show," while another asked, "Where tf were the avengers when the UN was getting attacked?"

One fan who imagined a romantic connection between Rogue and Captain America wrote, "I think Rogue is gonna have another all-new love-interest and he is Steve Rogers aka the single and only Captain America."

'This is just his shield. Last we saw Cap, he was in a time warp with Red Skull. If this not a flashback to WW2, the person throwing the shield is probably character Black Marvel," wrote a viewer.
