JEONJU, SOUTH KOREA: Netflix just dropped its latest K-drama and it is not for the faint-hearted.

‘The Bequeathed’ created by Yeon Sang-ho, Min Hong-nam, and Hwang Eun-young stretched over 6 thrilling, grim, and gruesome episodes, which focussed on the female protagonist, Yoon Seo-ha, and the aftermath of her finding out about her dead uncle and the inheritance.

However, amid all the humdrum of ‘The Bequeathed,’ one can’t help but wonder what’s next for Seo-ha and the other main characters who managed to survive until the very end of this K-drama. Will there be ‘The Bequeathed’ Season 2?

‘The Bequeathed’ Season 2 update

Since Netflix has only just released ‘The Bequeathed’ on the streaming platform, there is no news about another season yet.

Although Netflix does take its time when it comes to announcing another season, so we would recommend not being disheartened about this just yet.

While ‘The Bequeathed’ season finale tied up several loose ends, the series always can explore new avenues in another season, whilst also being able to retain the same characters.

Could there be more about Yoon Seo-ha?

Yoon Seo-ha started as the damsel in distress in ‘The Bequeathed,’ however, she needed no saving.

Seo-ha more often than not took matters into her own hands, and although it could have gotten her killed in the very last episode, she survived. In fact, Seo-ha also opened her art studio and buried her past behind.

Nevertheless, ‘The Bequeathed’ season 2 could uncover more secrets, possibly about her now-dead husband.

Another aspect that could be explored in ‘The Bequeathed’ Season 2, should it happen, is that of Detective Choi, who played a vital role in the series, but retired from his job as the last episode came by.

Maybe a spin-off series on just him, and his relationship with his son, could be something Netflix looks into, but only time will tell.
