SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: It has been a while since Blackpink has interacted with their fans. Thanks to their comeback with 'Born Pink', the K-pop group finally held an offline fansign where they spoke to Blinks (Blackpink's fandom) and hung out with them. And one wholesome interaction between a fan and Jennie has gone viral as the K-pop star was on the verge of crying.

Blackpink is probably at the highest point in their career as their second studio album crossed 2 million sales in one week making them the first double million girl group according to Circle Chart. If that wasn't enough, they also became the first K-pop girl group to top Billboard 200 Chart solidifying their position in the Western market. On top of that, their label YG Entertainment has teased that Blackpink's world tour 'Born Pink' will have an audience of 1.5 million people. But amidst these milestones, Jennie has been surrounded by rumors and scandals.

Jennie tears up while talking to a fan

Ever since May, there are rumors that Blackpink's Jennie is dating BTS' V. With dating being taboo in K-pop as seen with delusional and toxic fans sending her hate when she dated EXO's Kai, the same behavior is seen once again. On top of that, some hackers are targeting her and allegedly leaking private photos of her and V. Despite Blinks' protest, no action has been taken yet. Well, at the latest fansign, a Blink took to assuring Jennie that they would be by her side which led to her tearing up.

Blackpink's Jennie looked like she was on the verge of crying after talking to a fan which Blinks caught on camera. The clip has gone viral on K-pop Twitter with the fan sharing what really happened. User @jennineedyou said, "In the last part [of the fansign], I said whatever Jennie does, we will keep cheering her and will stay by her side, and Jennie should only look ahead and keep being herself always. She said that she was fine but not to make her cry. I too got emotional and couldn't say anything so I just kept saying 'fighting' and that she should always stay happy!!"

'She is always loved'

Fans were touched and made tweets like, "She deserves the world." Another fan posted, "I’m happy OP told her that. She needs to know she is always loved and appreciated." One added, "I wanna cry with Jennie."
