CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA: 'Love is Blind' Season 1 couple Cameron and Lauren Hamilton did not attend the Season 6 Reunion. Cameron took to Instagram to reveal that the couple was invited to the Reunion but respectfully declined.

He said, "So many people have messaged me asking why Lauren and I were not at the Season 6 Reunion, and I wanted to clear the air." He then went on to explain, "First, let me say, I love the 'Love is Blind' franchise. Speaking about my wife, I really appreciate that opportunity so much."

Cameron revealed that he and his wife declined to attend the Reunion because they were already booked for that day. Besides this, he revealed another reason for their absence, "Also, I had only watched a few episodes of the show, and I wasn't motivated to keep watching."

Cameron claimed not to be into Season 6 as he did not find any couples whom he wanted to root for. Supporting the show for around four years now, Cameron praised the franchise, "When it comes to genuineness, I think, on every season there are people who are open to getting married, there are people who want to get famous, and there are people who fall somewhere in the middle."

"And for me watching, of course, I want to see people who have that true connection and who genuinely want to get married," he continued. Cameron believed Season 6 was less about love and more about the memes that were going viral on social media. The star went on to slam the Reunion episode, saying, "I didn't hear anything about the one couple that did get married on this season. It was all about everyone else."

'Love is Blind' Season 1 star Lauren Hamilton admits her relationship was under pressure after the show

After the show, it was not easy for the couple to adjust to the reality. Fans had high expectations from the couple. This created the pressure, making Cameron and Lauren go through a rough patch.

"I think that the hardest thing for us at the time was just kind of learning how to let people’s opinions roll off of us," Lauren confessed to US Weekly. She added, "I think that whenever you’re not so used to having so much attention and everyone’s opinions, it could be a lot of pressure and I think we’re human. You know, we’re not love robots.
