Why did Tom Nitti quit 'The Voice' Season 24? Fans left disheartened after US Army veteran quits show due to 'personal reasons'

UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: As 'The Voice' Season 24 Playoffs Part 2 began, we saw the host announcing the heartbreaking news that Tom Nitti is leaving the show.

No exact reasons were mentioned in the show apart from this that Tom was leaving because of personal problems. His sudden ext from the show left fans fuming.

An angry fan wrote on X, "Every season on #TheVoice someone has to leave early and takes a spot from someone else."

Another shocked seeing, "What do you mean Tom had to leave?" A fan claimed the reasons, "Tom had to leave due to personal reasons."

Another took to the Reddit thread to show his concern. "So sad that Tom had to leave!" wrote the fan. Another commented, "Dylan lost his battle against Tom just for him to leave later??"

It is not yet confirmed whether Tom will be brought back in the show if his personal problems gets resolved in the future. The singer is yet to address his departure from the singing show on his social media. 

Tom Nitti won 'The Voice' Season 24 Knockouts

Tom was the winner of 'The Voice' Season 24 Knockouts. He was seen singing Temptations' '(I Know) I'm Losing You' in the Knockouts. 

Int he Knockouts, we saw Tom competing with Team Reba McEntire's Alison Albrecht. Sadly, Alison was eliminated as she couldn't stand in front of Tom.

Tom was int he Team Reba ever since the start of the show. In the Blind Audition round, the budding artist sang 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I'm Yours)' by Stevie Wonder. He managed to get only one chair turn.

Ever since then, Tom has sticked to Team Reba. 

Who was 'The Voice' Season 24 contestant Tom Nitti?

The 31-year-old country artist, Tom Nitti hailed from central New York. He is a husband and a father. Tom was a US Army veteran who had a passion for singing. 

Tom was deployed to Afghanistan as an Airborne Cavalry Scout. After he completed his service in Army, he came back to New York and joined the State Polie service. 

In 2019, Tom gave a little turn to his career and started pursuing his passion.

While in the military, Tom had a traumatic brain injury. "I don't remember too much what happened but I was awarded the Purple Heart," said Tom.

Tom gave credit to his military days for making him "resilient." He therefore dedicated his song in 'The Voice' to army officers.

'The Voice' Season 24 new episodes releases every Monday at 8 pm and Tuesday at 9 pm on NBC.
