Will Lo Bosworth appear in ‘The Reunion: Laguna Beach’? Absence on red carpet sparks doubt
Millennials are getting nostalgic waiting for the comeback of their favorite teens from 'Laguna Beach.' Most of the cast, led by Lauren Conrad, are expected to return in the upcoming 'The Reunion: Laguna Beach,' according to TV Insider. However, the appearance of some names remains doubtful, like Lo Bosworth. Bosworth, along with another Season 1 cast member, Morgan Smith, was notably absent from the poster. Bosworth also did not appear in the press day event. Fans, though, are still holding out hope for her appearance in the reunion special. It can be effectively ruled out that the lifestyle brand's owner appeared in person during the filming of the reunion special. But she may have appeared in other ways, to honor the close bond she continues to share with her castmates.
As per Atlantic, Bosworth spent her time in 'Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County' and 'The Hills' as Conrad's spunky and fiercely loyal best friend. She remained a fan favorite throughout the entire run of both shows. Official synopsis of 'Laguna Beach' reunion event does list Lo Bosworth as a participant. Bosworth shared the reunion special's announcement on her story back in 2025. Also, she featured in the new version of the opening credits set to be attached to the reunion special. The credits flash back and forth between the cast's high school and present-day clips. The present-day footage of most participants was taken on the day the cast gathered to film the reunion. In the case of Bosworth and Smith, personally sent footage was used. This all but confirms her involvement.
Bosworth possibly could not reach California, where the reunion was recorded in October 2025, as she was pregnant at the time. She currently resides on the East Coast, and most probably, she was advised against flying in her condition. It is unclear in what capacity she would appear in the special, but people are glad that she did not let the gang be incomplete. Bosworth skipped the reunion press day event due to an impending surgery. The former reality star herself explained the reason in an Instagram post. As per Parade, Bosworth is facing some post-pregnancy complications. She welcomed a daughter in January 2026.
The press-day absence was related to one of those complications. “No, I didn’t go to the Laguna Beach press day. Not because I didn’t want to be there. I just had a baby, and I have to get some placenta removed next week. Surgically. That was accidentally left behind,” she shared in the post. To show solidarity with her beloved cast, Bosworth donned a black-and-white ensemble at home on March 26, 2026. The same dress code was followed by the cast who attended the event, like Lauren Conrad, Stephen Colletti, and Kristin Cavallari. The podcast host shares a good relationship with her fellow co-stars, evident by instances like Conrad commenting a sweet message on Bosworth's baby arrival post. The reunion special is set to air on Friday, April 10, on the Roku Channel.
