From a high school reunion to a wedding

In the last season of 'The Afterparty', we saw a murder investigation taking place at a high school reunion. Season 2 will change perspective and places and take the audience on a wild ride of solving a murder mystery at a wedding. Something that sets this show apart from others is the potential it has and how different take it has on the murder mystery genre. 'The Afterparty' tells a story of a murder, but through the tales and perspectives of the prime suspects.

The fun part is how different each perspective is and how funny the narration becomes. The murder mystery comedy will officially launch its first two episodes on July 12. Season 2 of 'The Afterparty' consists of 10 all-new episodes, two extra episodes that its predecessor will run weekly through September 6 when the finale arrives. The cast of the show will include Elizabeth Perkins, Zach Woods, Paul Walter Hauser, Poppy Liu, Anna Konkle, Jack Whitehall, Vivian Wu, John Cho, and Ken Jeong.

Why did the show postpone its Season 2 premiere date?

'The Afterparty' Season 2 will be released on July 12 and go on till the finale, which will come around September 6. Meanwhile, Apple TV+ hasn't shared the reason behind the delayed date, it seems like the production needs time to make the story interesting and to create more character arcs. Well, let's hope this delay comes out as a win for the murder mystery show and not the other way around.

'The Afterparty' Season 2 will be gracing your screens on July 12 exclusively on Apple TV+.
