Apple TV+ has been churning out fabulous new watches and the streaming platform's upcoming series titled 'The Afterparty' is one to definitely look forward to!

The Apple TV+ show is a murder-mystery comedy and puts a funny spin on a classic whodunnit plot that features an amazing cast who promise to induce giggles. 'The Afterparty' follows a murder investigation when a prominent person is found dead following the afterparty of a high school reunion. Each episode explores a different character’s account of the fateful evening in question, all through the lens of popular film genres and unique visuals to match the storyteller’s perspective."

Who stars in the Apple TV+ comedy series?

Tiffany Haddish as Danner

Tiffany Haddish is an American stand-up comedian, actress, and author. Her first break was a spot on the comedy competition 'Bill Bellamy's Who's Got Jokes?' following which, she was a part of various shows that include 'That's So Raven', 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia', 'Meet the Spartans', 'Reality Bites Back' and more. The NBC sitcom 'The Carmichael Show' brought her attention following which her real breakthrough came in 2017 when she garnered critical acclaim for her performance in the comedy film 'Girls Trip'. She has made even greater waves and won a Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album in 2021. Haddish will be essaying the role of Danner, the detective in charge of the investigation in 'The Afterparty'.



 

The rest of the cast includes Sam Richardson as Aniq, Zoë Chao as Zoe, Ben Schwartz as Yasper, Ike Barinholtz as Brett, Ilana Glazer as Chelsea, Dave Franco as Xavier, the murder victim, Jamie Demetriou as Walt, and John Early as Det Culp, Danner's partner.
