NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ meteorologist Al Roker recently roasted his co-hosts on-air after offering his scathing opinion about an airline considering having an 'adults-only' section on flights.

On Tuesday, Roker shared some tough love with his co-hosts and blasted Sheinelle Jones, Dylan Dreyer, and Jacob Soboroff as they kicked off their discussion on the forthcoming change made to a particular airline.

Meanwhile, Sheinelle Jones and Dylan Dreyer were missing from the ‘Today’ show and were replaced by Jill Martin and Jacob Soboroff.

Why did Al Roker roast his co-hosts?

During Tuesday's episode of ‘Today 3rd Hour’, the news desk shared an intriguing story about Corendon Airlines, which was reportedly "testing out an adults-only section" on their flights.

The Turkish airline plans to position this section "in front of the plane" and restrict seat purchases to individuals "16 years old or older."

Following the introduction of this topic by Dylan Dreyer, she and Sheinelle Jones engaged in a lively discussion about their personal thoughts on Corendon's unconventional approach.

The conversation then took an interesting turn when Jacob Soboroff inquired directly about Al Roker’s preference, asking if he was the type who preferred the "quiet car on the train."

Roker candidly shared his perspective on the matter, asserting that he didn't require the tranquil environment of a train's quiet car.

In a moment of advocacy for families who travel together, he emphasized, "Listen, people and families traveling is a part of travel, so suck it up. It's not that big a deal."

It's worth noting that Roker has been a consistent presence on the ‘Today 3rd Hour’ this week, in contrast to some of his co-hosts.

She shared the news, saying, "See you tomorrow @todayshow 9-10 am while my pals @sheinelle_o @dylandreyernbc take some well-deserved time off," alongside a picture of herself sitting in her car, wearing sunglasses and sporting a slight smile.

The 47-year-old meteorologist also documented her behind-the-scenes preparations, sharing videos of her makeup session for the show.

Meanwhile, Jacob Soboroff has been stepping in for Carson Daly for the past week and will continue to co-host the morning show until Labor Day.

Notably, on Monday, both Jones and Dreyer were absent, along with regular hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb.
