She expressed that she would only consider them acquaintances and wasn't sure if they would ever be able to call each other friends. And rightfully so, fans of the show are aware that their relationship hasn't been amicable either. Jimmy even referred to Jess as a "mean girl" at some point due to their contentious final date in the pods.
During the reunion, Jess pointed out that she has consistently spoken highly of Jimmy, whereas Jimmy has consistently criticized her in all their interactions since the show ended.
"I have participated in numerous interviews, and I've consistently spoken highly of you, our shared experience, and how grateful I am to have had it with you. It seemed like you seized the first opportunity to attempt to undermine me."
However, Jess shared that they had reconciled, acknowledging the mutual understanding that their relationship wouldn't work out. They decided to accept this fact and move forward.
She mentioned they were now in a good place, suggesting they had moved past their differences and were on friendly terms despite not being friends.
"We had made peace and we both came to the agreement we knew it would never work, and we left it there. We're in a good place," she said to E News.
