NBC's 'The Voice' Season 28 finally crowned its Mic Drop winner, and we can't be more excited. For the uninitiated, makers introduced the coveted button in season 28, where each coach, including Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire, and Niall Horan, used it to nominate one winning artist, who then competed for an audience-voted chance to perform at the Rose Parade. Finally, the latest episode of the Playoffs unveiled the winner's name.

With their stellar vocals, team Bublé's Max Chambers, Team Reba's Aaron Nichol, Team Niall's DEK of Hearts, and Team Snoop's Yoshihanaa competed for the coveted button. On the Monday, December 8 episode of the show, viewers voted between four standout performances and chose Team Niall's country trio DEK of Hearts as the winner. With their victory, DEK of Hearts earned the opportunity to perform at the 137th Rose Parade on New Year's Day, as per American Songwriter.

Although DEK of Hearts won the Mic Drop Button, they did not secure a spot in 'The Voice' Season 28 finale and were among 12 artists relying on America's vote to advance. After the final four from each team delivered standout Playoff performances, coaches selected only one finalist per team, leaving 12 hopefuls. Reportedly, Team Bublé's Jazz McKenzie, Team Reba's Aubrey Nicole, Team Niall's Aiden Ross, and Team Snoop's Ralph Edwards have secured spots in the finale.

Notably, the winner of 'The Voice' is ultimately decided by America's vote. Fans can cast their votes via NBC.com/VoiceVote or the official Voice app. The two-part Live Finale of Season 28 will air on Monday, December 15 and 16 on NBC. Notably, the Top 6 artists of 'The Voice' Season 28 will perform live on Monday, December 15 at 9 pm ET/8 pm CT, when voting will open online and via the app until early Tuesday, December 16.

The results show airs the following night at 9 pm ET/8 pm CT, featuring special performances from XG, Riley Green, Zac Brown, Noah Cyrus, and Khalid. Both episodes will be available to stream on Peacock the day after they air, as per NBC. Talking about 'The Voice' Season 29, titled Battle of Champions, premieres on Monday, February 23, 2026, with a revamped format featuring only three coaches: Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend. The second and third episodes will air on Wednesday, February 25, and Thursday, February 26, at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT, before returning to its regular Monday 9 pm ET/8 pm CT timeslot.
