'RHONJ' Season 12: Who is Traci Lynn Johnson? Ex-NFL star Tiki Barber's wife to debut on show
Bravo's hit reality series 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' is all set tp return with season 12. While the season's trailer featured a lot of jaw-dropping moments such as former enemies Jennifer Aydin and Jackie Goldschneider engaging in what appears to be a warm and friendly moment, Teresa Giudice locking horns with Margaret Josephs while trying to defend her new relationship with Luis Ruelas, what captured everybody's attention was the announcement of new cast member Traci Lynn Johnson.
Traci, the wife of former NFL star Tiki Barber will be making her big debut on the upcoming season of 'RHONJ'. She will be introduced as the 'friend of housewives' to the audience! Traci will be joined by returning housewives- Teresa Giudice, Dolores Catania, Melissa Gorga, Jackie Goldschneider, Margaret Josephs, and Jennifer Aydin. Who is Tiki Barber's wife Traci Lynn Johnson?
According to Traci's Bravo bio, she is introduced to the group by Melissa. "Introduced to the group by Melissa, Traci is no stranger to the spotlight. As the wife of former NFL player, Tiki Barber, she knows what it’s like to be in the public eye and values loyalty more than anything. After seeing what Teresa and Jennifer are going through in their relationships, she is forced to revisit past allegations about her own marriage," reads her bio.
The blonde beauty and her famous husband may be living a very low-key life today, but this wasn't the case when the news of their relationship first broke out. The couple made headlines back in 2012 when Tiki divorced his first wife, Ginny Cha and within eight days tied the knot to Traci. At that time rumors were rife that the retired running back who played for New York Giants left his pregnant wife for the young Traci, who worked as an intern at NBC's 'Today Show', where the former NFL star was a commentator.
Tiki married his first wife Ginny Cha in 1999, and the couple had two sons together: Atiim Kiambu Barber Jr., now 18, and Chason Barber, now 17. In 2010, when Ginny was pregnant with their twin daughters, Tiki reportedly left her to be with Traci. Both the NFL star and Traci have always insisted that Tiki was already separated from Ginny when they first got together. Tiki and Ginny's divorce was finalized in 2012, and shortly after that Tiki married Traci.
Tiki and Traci share two daughters together- Brooklyn and Teagan Barber. The couple seems to be in a happy marriage and has managed to stay out of any scandals or controversies. In July 2021, Tiki and Traci celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary together. Traci took to her Instagram to express her love for her husband. She wrote, "9 years later and every dinner out with you still feels like a date. Here is to a marriage that is all about growth, learning, acceptance and unconditional love and loyalty.
